Graham Knuttel has created four fabulous new works to grace the walls of the Seafood Bar which has already attracted enormous critical acclaim without any fanfare opening. Food critics throughout Ireland rightly believe they have discovered another jewel in the Deanes crown and the seafood sourced directly from our own shores is just what tourists and locals want. According to Michael Deane the energy, dedication and enthusiasm of his team is what makes them consistent flag bearers and award winners for the industry in Northern Ireland. “We know if we can please people in Northern Ireland then visitors will be delighted. The restaurant industry is a sound barometer of the economic at the sharp end and we believe confidence is still out there. “Of course people want even more value for money in these times but they don’t compromise on quality and we are delivering both. Visitors from Dublin to New York were telling us they wanted a dedicated seafood offering from Northern Ireland and our experience to date might mean we have to think bigger. From the freshest milky Oysters, creamy crab and mussel chowder and organic smoked salmon with fresh wheaten bread and seaweed butter to crisp fish and chips every dish is a surprise especially when you realise you can eat for under ten pounds. All of this and the stunning surroundings of the highly collectable Graham Knuttel at his very best, back into the Northern Ireland art scene with a wonderful quirky take on the view from a certain restaurant in Belfast. After a very successful show last November wit the Whalley Gallery in Holywood, Graham has appointed Stephen Whalley as his agent in Northern Ireland. “The new paintings for Deanes show Graham’s appetite for exhibiting his work in all types of surroundings and to show his works to a broad spectrum of people. The Chefs have always been a big part of Graham’s work over the years and it seems from his new pieces the work is even more collectable now than it ever was,” says Stephen.
